Install Error
Hi, Can't find a solution for this, hence my plea for help. Trying to install TI 2016 on a virgin new machine running Windows 10 (Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro). During install I get the message
Module C:\Program Files (x86)\Acronis\TrueImageHome\versions_view.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147024703. Contact your support personnel.
I have tried what is suggested here: https://forum.acronis.com/forum/69038 - but that does not help. I would appreciate any help I can get.

Thanks so much for your help. And no, I am not within the 30 days, bummer. It sure is a weird one. I have two identical Yoga 3, and I only have this problem on one of them. The only difference is this one with the problem has a different SSD in it.
Question. What if I just run TI 2015. Will that give me troubles on Win 10?
Thanks again.

If you have had TI 2015 installed on this computer prior to installing TI 2016 then you probably can solve the issue by running the cleanup utility and then reinstall 2016. Link to cleanup utility and directions are below.

Thank you again for taking the time to help me.
I need to clarify what I said about TI 2015. The PC is in a complete virgin state (I own two if them, identical). On one of them I have this problem when I instal TI2016. TI 2015 however installs ok without a problem. If I then try to upgrade and intsall TI 2016 on top, I get this message.
Same message I get when I try to install TI2016 immediately after a factory reset of the machine. So its just TI 2016 it does not like.
Needless to say TI 2016 runs from the rescue media, but that does not really help my situation, I need the installed version for scheduling purposes. So, the PC is now running Windows 10, I am happy to use TI 2015, but I think on Windows 10 that will give me problems, is that right?
Any other hints would also be more than welcome.

Well, that is problem (sort of) solved then. Thanks for everybody's time, I appreciate it, and I am not just saying that. I will do my part and promise to update the thread should I ever find out what the issue was or if any future updates of TI 2016 solve it.
Thanks again
