Issue to save on Network Drive
Hello,
I've just upgraded from 2012 to 2016 and I'm very UNsatisfied.
I run on W7 x64 French
I've lose all my settings, perhaps it's fixed with build 5620, but it wasn't proposed to me to install it even if I bought my 2016 upgrade 3 days after this new release ;-(
I do my backup on a NAS using a windows share (SMB) \\10.0.0.1\Backup\BackupDir
I configure it but it never ask me for network credential but when I save I got the message Invalid credential with the red cross. I click on red cross and there's a menu to change credential but it open nothing when I click on it.
I've also tried to use windows credential manager as suggested on a message on this Forum but it doesn't works too.
So for now I'm back on Acronis 2012 as I need to backup my computer.
Just a remark, I don't like this new trend to have tactile like interface with only the very essential displayed, it just make all the less essential on the view of the designer more complex to access.
Stop to try to be inspired by apple or android or windows metre, please make application more usable instead of more beautiful !!!

Hello,
I've installed the Hotfix 2 instead, it was still required me to uninstall ATI 2012 and I have loose all my settings, the comment of the release notes telling upgrade from ATI2012 is fixed sounds not totally accurate.
Regarding my network save issue, it works now, suppose it's linked to the usage of windows credential manager and a reboot of the machine, it's just absolutely not user friendly, having to spend time on forum just to have something like saving on a Network drive (which sound to me to be an ultra basic feature for ATI) it's quite disappointing.
I'm really not satisfied by this new version.
I've tried to restore a file, the file explorer is very not useful, big icons to be tactile friendly (on non tactile device) make the browsing very painful has you see very few information, you quickly have to use scrollbar.
I hope in the future you will back to basic by having a very usable tools as in past, instead of follow marketing and design trends.
Regards,
Laurent
