It just isn't doing anything when choosing backup

Thread needs solution

SOLVED: Activation code had not been entered yet. It would be nice to instead of having no feedback, for there to be a message that says "Must activate for actual backup."

In main backup window, source is chosen (various "disks" ... C:, D:), destination is chosen ... M: a USB external HD with plenty of capacity. When I choose "back up now" it goes for a few seconds, and then it goes from the arrow to check mark (all done) but NOTHING HAS CHANGED. There is no new file on M:

What is happening???

I seem to have used this 3-user version to back up a laptop and another computer (also with internal SSD HDs).

Please help.

Hello Wally, I would suspect that there may have been a message in the log for the backup task you attempted but seeing the logs is not very easy in the latest versions.  Download a copy of the Log File Viewer App from this forum and take a look at the logs for when you had this issue using that.

The other check is to look at the Account information in the GUI - click on the icon in the shape of a person (head & shoulders).
