Loss of Windows 10 MS Edge after installation of ATI 2016

Thread needs solution

I purchase and installed ATI 2016 and during the install it told me that a later version was available and gave me the option to install the latest of the one I purchase. I choose to install the latest version. After the install it required a restart on my computer and I did that. Upon restart the icon for Windows 10 Edge did not display. I did another restart and still no Edge. I shut down the PC for the night and the next day did a reboot and still no Edge. I also tried to run Edge and Iexplorer for the start run menu and neither would run.

Please help.

Hello John, there seem to be a number of problems with the new MS Edge browser on Windows 10 which you can find if you do a Google search on this topic.  Some of the suggestions are as follows:

Run the Microsoft troubleshooter for Windows apps

Follow the steps from http://www.techtantri.com/how-to-reinstall-microsoft-edge-browser/ which gives step by step instructions on how to clean-up the existing Edge information and then re-install it using the Windows Powershell.
Note: the above webpage gives a number of pop-ups that are annoying to me - I have attached a PDF copy of the webpage after stopping the pop-ups!
