Message on first backup in ATI 2016 build 1671: "Queied"

Thread needs solution

I've tried to use the prior chain of backups (full every 5 intervals) and or a new backup, and it only says "Queued" each time, but never actually backs the computer up.  I back up to an external drive.

Please tell me what to do. I did successfully remove all the old backups from the Left-side bar, so they are not competing for time to back up.

Please tell me how to get a back up started, not queued!

Sincerely

Susan, please see KB document: 1859: Acronis Scheduler Manager and download the program schedmgr.exe from there.

Run schedmgr.exe and it will open a Command prompt type window.

Type the command Get list and it will list all the existing scheduled tasks that will cause your backups to be queued.

Type the command Task zap and it will delete all those scheduled tasks and allow you to run your backups.

Once you have cleared all these scheduled entries you can then setup new scheduled tasks.

Thanks, actually, getting rid of all the backups the new install of upgraded Acronis, (not deleting, but removing them from the left panel list), and rebooting, was all that was necessary to start a new full backup to be followed by 5 intervals. Nothing as technical as that which you suggested.

Sincerely,
