Missing source drives after S3 wake

Thread needs solution

I have two SATA3 SSD's connected to ASmedia SATA3 ports on my motherboard. These drives are recognised and work no problem in my Windows 10 64 system, however although they are recognised by ATI 2016 at start up and a backup works and can be scheduled, they go missing once the system has gone to sleep and is woken back up and therefore the schedule backup fails.

This was all working a month back and I can’t work out what has changed apart from windows updates etc. Boot drive and WD RE4 on SATA3 native ports work ok and don’t have an issue, I have tried ATI repair, uninstall/reinstall to no effect.

I could move the drives over to my other spare SATA3 ports but why won’t this work anyway when windows has no problem seeing them.

Hi Jonathan!

Thanks for choosing Acronis!

It is very important in your case to look through additional information, logs etc, so from what you describe I can tell, that this is either a problem with the disks, the user's rights or the driver responable for detecting the drives. So, here are respectively the solutions:

1. If the problem is with the disks, you can easily check that with Acronis Disk Report. If you find any errors, you can fix them using the Checkdisk utility.

2. Make sure that the user who launches the application has all the rights over those disks (full control).

3. If the isssue is with the SnapAPI driver of the program, please, install the latest version and restart your computer.

Unfortunatelly, without other information I can't tell anything.

Hope that this will help.
