Mounting an image

Thread needs solution

I am trying to mount on old backup of my C/ drive to examine the files. I have Acronis 16 and Windows 10. All of the documentation says to use Internet explorer -- which is not readily accessible on Windows 10. How do I mount an image without IE?
Thanks, David

From the User Guide

"How to mount an image
1. In Windows Explorer, right-click the image file that you want to mount, and then click Mount image.
The Mount wizard opens.
2. Select the backup for mounting by its creation date/time. Thus, you can explore the data state at a certain moment."

They are talking about the file manager, not the Internet Browser. Also, when you right-click you have to go to the True Image entry on the menu.

As Niles has indicated, here is a picture of where the mount (and validate) option is located. Just click on the mount opiton and select which partitions is to be mounted.

Actually, an easier way is to simply double click on the tib file name (inside Windows Explorer) and browse inside the backup without the hassle of mounting. Just keep clicking on each opening windows as you browse insdie the directory tree of the backup.
