I have Acronis True Image 2016.

I find Acronis backing up to the cloud is slow.

Is there a way I can backup to the cloud and to my external hard drive?

Yeah, sure!

You can backup both to the cloud and to the external hard drive, but you will have to create two backup plans. Here is a tutorial how to create backup plans. If you have any questions, please, ask.

Cloud is incredibly slow. While I can still backup locally, once the Cloud backup started, the local backups are suspended. So while it is taking my SSD of 250 GB over a week to be backed up, my other internal drive is not backed up and neither are my external drives. This makes using the Cloud dangerous and useless. I am hoping one the backup is made, all will resume as normal but it is a risk.

 Comcast says I have 8Mbit/s but Acronis typically shows 1 or 2. This makes it take forever to backup anything. My first attempt was estimating up to 39 days for 1.6TB so I cancelled and am now trying 160GB which has been been chugging along for a week.

Acronis chat support has been down for a week and email and personal support options are grayed out. I like the standalone Acronis True Image. Trying the Cloud version has been a mistake so far.
