Need On Site Acronis Guru-Tech? So. Orange Co. CA
I'm trying to find a tech well trained/experienced in Acronis and/or backup technologies, that can do an "office-call", and properly set up a backup program, possibly including cloud technology in addition to on-site hardware storage. I'm running a small business, and use a Dell XPS 8900 desktop, Win 10 64bit. I have two desktop hard drives continually connected to the computer via USB. My primary and destination drive is a 5tb Seagate desktop drive, and I have a 4tb Seagate desktop drive to which I copy over the 5tb's backup files. I also regulary make un-incrypted copies of all data files which are saved on numerous usb mini-externals. While I've been in computing as a user since the early 80's, and can work my way through most common hardware and software issues, I am not qualified nor do I want to re-invent the wheel regarding setting up a backup protocal. I bought Acronis True Image 2016 as it appeared to be the most intuitive. However, I find it far from that. After setting up the backup scheme, (selecting of which one was a guess), I get about 4-5 days of backups. But then, I get ".....the backup location was not found on the destination drive..." The Acronis solution in help isn't......... helping. It's not the "backup for dummies" that I thought it might be. I'm not about to stop work to read lines of code and/or commands, etc. So that's it. I'm in the South Orange County area of CA. I was hoping my local computer tech store could help, but I sense they're not really "backup tech super saavy." Anyone out there?
