Hello Dear Community,

Please be aware that have released a hotfix for the PC version of Acronis True Image 2016. New build number is 6571

This build contains fixes for the following issue:

Thank you,

Dear Support Engineer,

I bought Acronis True Image 2016 in March 2016. At that time my PC worked with WIN 7 PRO.

I did a true image of my PC (two internal hard drives), when using WIN 7 PRO.

Two weeks later, I upgraded my PC to WIN 10 PRO, since it was a free offer from Microsoft.

My Acronis product worked perfect getting updates and making incremental back-ups.

Today, 3-6-2015 the New Build 6571, is shown available for download.

Unfortunately, it seems that the new build Stops the Services during Update. The update fails and I get the message Access Denied.

Please, any hint for help?

Thank you in advance

John,

Please start a new topic.  This topic is informational only.  I am confident we can get your problem resolved.

I like how Acronis added this:

  • The message about terminating current operations prevents a computer from shutdown

Doesn't refer to anything fixed that caused the above issue. I guess they just remove the notice.

I had to disable the Sync, and Non Stop backup services in order to get a sutdown/restart sequence back to normal (not taking up to 5 minutes to shut down/restart).

I don't understand why all this bloat is being activated when we are not using it. I don't use Sync, Non stop backups, or the cloud service. These services  should only be activated if we choose to use one of those services.

I already have an account on the website and recieve mail. I doin't use use the Cloud services so there is no reason to display that login everytime I manually run Acronis. If I so choose to use the Clouds services then I can see haveing to log in.

Lets's get back to basics and refrain from all the extra bloat!
