New computer, now need recovery

Thread needs solution

Have a 3 week old compter (Dell XPS8900) which I think partially boots from SSD.  Anyway, computer is giving windows RECOVERY needed message, and I can't get around it.  Not sure if there is a hardware or software issue as sometimes the error is that one of the windows file is corrupt, other times that it can't connect or find a needed device.

Normal windows recovery isn't working (drive is locked).  I'm happy restoring my TrueImage backup, but never did a True Image recover disk.  Can I create one on another computer and use on the "on life support" machine?

Any help is appreciated.

Keith,

Short answer is yes, and at this point is probably your best option.

If you could post the exact error messages you are seeing more help may be provided.
