New install - not working
I upgraded from free version to True Image 2016 (paid version), and registered the software on the website.
I have tried to run my first Acronis backup to an external hard drive, but when I hit the green "Back up now" button, nothing seems to happen and I don't see any traffic on my backup drive. I see no indication that a backup is taking place or how it is progressing.
When I shut down the laptop, it says Acronis is halting current operations (what operations? nothing is happening!).
What am I doing wrong? How can I tell if the backup is happening or not?
I've gone to the website seeking tech support, but even though my software says it is fully registered and I can see the license key in the software with the green check mark, the website says I have no software registered...so I can't reach online tech support.
Help...?
