not able to sent e-mails via t-online

Thread needs solution

Hi,

what are the correct details under notifications to sent an e-amil via T-Online after every backup?

I´ve tried so many variations, but nothing will work.

Hello Lutz, the following web page looks to give the correct settings needed to send email.

You should be using:  securesmtp.t-online.de with port 465 for SSL and use your T-Online full email address and password for the credentials.

I´m now using Acronis 2016 with the newest update. But I´m still unable to sent e-mail out of Acronis. I´ve tested all possible parameters, including the ones form Steve Smith.
 

What are the next possibilities I will have?

See also the attached document describing how to setup Gmail for email notifications as an alternative to using your T-Online ISP email account.  I use a Gmail account just for these notifications.
