opening .tib file
After backup and creation of .tib file, I cannot open the file to view the contents of the backup.

Are you saying that when you browse the Windows Explorer to where the tib file is stored,
and double click on the tib file that it does not open for viewing/copying files?

What does happen when you double click on the file? Nothing? Are you logged onto Windows as an admin and is this logon account the same one used when True Image was installed?
Check the Security Permissions on the external drive and make certain that your user account has Full permissions on that drive. Also check the Folder where the backup file is stored for the same thing.

Yes, nothing happens. On former versions of Acronis the file would expand the directory to view the files backed up. However, if I attempt to "restore" the files it will allow me to view all directories and files.

What has worked for others is to use the 2015 TI Cleanup utility which does an uninstall and cleanup.
