Partition not found for backup

Thread needs solution

Hello all

I bought TI 2016 yesterday and want to do a backup of my Packard Bell iXtreme X6620 UK.

Partition managers show my 3 hdd, c and d (separate partitions on the same disk) and e, and 1 USB drive, g.

Partition managers show disk c partitioned as

PQSERVICE, 12 Gb  Status None

SYSTEM RESERVED, 100 Mb  Status Active and Boot

C:Packard Bell, 460 Gb  System

These are the partitions that I want to back up, but when I open TI2016, the PQSERVICE partition is not shown. Is this normal for this partition, and would there be any problems on restoring if it is not imaged ?

I realise that it is a hidden recovery partition.

Can anyone advise ?

TIA

Stuart,

When you look at the Source selection panel for Disks & Partitions, look towards the bottom left for an option for "Full partition list" - this is a switch that when you click on it will swap the view from "Short partition list" to the full listing which includes any hidden partitions on the drive you are looking at.

Thanks for the reply

I did as you suggested and the Recovery Partition was listed and already selected.
