PC wiederherstellen

Hallo ,

Was mach ich falsch

I can not perform a recovery of the PC from a backup. When the recovery is done, the PC is shut down, then the Acronis window appears with the name of the backup file but after about 1 min follows a black screen and then comes the normal Windows start screen.

What am I doing wrong

From the limited information you have provided, it sounds like you are attempting to recover your PC from the Windows version of Acronis True Image, which is not recommended for doing this because of issues such as this.

I would recommend creating the Acronis bootable Rescue Media via the Tools menu > Rescue Media Builder option.

The default rescue media is based on a Linux kernel, so if you have a UEFI system, you may need to disable Secure Boot if this is active.

If the default Linux media does the same as you saw for trying this from Windows, then you may need to take the second Media Builder option and create the Windows PE version of the Rescue media - this requires that the Windows ADK is installed but the media builder will direct you to download / install this if you don't already have it installed.  Note: you only need to install the top 3 options for the Windows ADK; also you can install the Windows 10 version of the ADK on Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 OS's.

If you would be more happy to work in your own language rather than in English, then there is a dedicated German speaking forum - Deutsches Acronis Forum für Privatanwender that you can raise this topic in.
