Planning backups

Thread needs solution

I use True Imae 2016 with WIN 10.

I do not plan backups but get always messages that Acronis cannot find the backup-drive.

How can a switch off these messages?

Thank you

If you have run any backups in the past and any of them show up on the left side as an existing backup in the application, you're always going to get thesem messages if the drive is not plugged in when you launch Acronis.

When the software starts, it is configured for that backup(s) that show up in the left hand pane, even if they are not on a schedule.  the software expects those backup files to be where they were last taken and it's telling you they aren't there when you launch it.

Bascially, to avoid this, plug your hard drive in before you launch Acronis and make sure it has the same driver letter that the backup was originally taken with and you should not see this message when you launch the application.

Thank you for your quick answer. It explains the message. I thought Acronis is going to backup and was worried.
