Problems after Update

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I did the latest update, about four weeks ago. After that Acronis refuses to start, but only shows the message "Kann eine Datenbank nicht erstellen." translated: "can't generate a database". That's all and Acronis 2016 doesn't starts after the mesage.

What can I do?

Is there already a thread for this problem?

Sometimes, just renamkng the old database folder and letting Acronis recreate it is all you need to get going again.

If the issue occurs on the latest build (6569) could you please send us Acronis System Report from your machine using feedback option in the product. It will help us to find the root cause of database not being properly updated.

Hi Ekaterina,

unfortunately the application dosn't start at all. All I see is the mentioned message, which I can click "ok" that's all, no application, no possibiliy to generate a report. So undersandably I can't use the feedback option !!!

Can I find the requested report, log files in a certain directory?

THX, that helped. At least True Image starts again. Let's see, what the update to 6569 brings.
