Thread needs solution

Paid for Acronis True Image 2016 3 user and 1 user full licences but on entering serial number or registering serial number the system states that it is for upgrade only. Tried calling Acronis support but they only offer support with pre-payment. Contacting corporate support no answer phone rings out. Contacted software reseller twice they state that the serial number is for the full product not upgrade. Next stop is the ombudsman. The Acronis database for the product serial numbers must be corrupted.
