raid to single ssd
I want to upgrade from a raid to a single ssd, is this possible with this software?
Thanks in advance

It absolutely is. You cannot "clone" directly to a new disk in this situation, but you can take a full image of your existing RAID "disk" and push that image back to a new SSD (just make sure that your SSD will fit all of your existing data on it and don't cut it too close). When you boot up, it will look and feel just like the original - although probably faster if upgrading from spinning drives to a decent SSD (recommend Samsung 850EVO for a solid drive at a nice cost point, but that's just my personal preference).
There may be some caveats with your actual BIOS/hardware setup though, but those are not related to Acronis (or any other backup product) which would need to be configured correctly in your system BIOS and/or RAID controller. For instance, in the BIOS, you can usually set a disk option for RAID, AHCI, or SATA. AHCI is the most common for single disk setups. However, since you already have a RAID setup, even though you would not be using actual RAID (2 or more disks), you'd want to keep this set as RAID in the bios. This can be changed, but it's more in depth and I would look to do that after you have everything pushed to your new single SSD and verified to be working if you wanted to switch to AHCI.
Depending on the type of RAID controller (physical raid connection)your computer has, you may have to go into the RAID manger/controller (sometimes a bios feature as well) and break the RAID configuration there too. Otherwise, having only a single disk will report that your setup is degraded and you'll see warngings about this, even though it won't apply since you only want to use a single disk.
If there's any doubt. Acronis offers 30 day moneyback gurarntee. If you purchase the software and find you don't like it or can't get it to work for some strange reason, as long as you return it within 30 days, you should be able to receive a refund.
