Recovered deleted partitions

Hi,

I have a HDD with 750 GB divided to 5 partitions C; D; E; F&I (2 of them E&F were secured by BitLocker of win. 8.1). When I used Acronis 2016 from CD to make an image file for my HDD, I go through Tools and Utilities and found (Add New Disk). At that time I decided to merge between 3 partitions that not secured by BitLocker. When I tried that, the all 5 partitions in the disk has became one un-formatted partition!!!

the problem is, I have important data in the 2 secured partitions and I could not recovered the data; are there any way to get back the 2 secured partitions and recovered the data?

You will need a disk utility to reinstate the partitions. Even with specialist tools you may not be successful. There are various products you could look at including Acronis Disk Director 12.5; you could also check out MiniTool Partition (or is it Disk) Wizard (you will need the full version not the trial version). I suggest doing an internet search for partition/disk management software.

Did you actually make a backup image of your HDD or did you use the Add New Disk feature?

If you made a full disk & partitions backup image, then it may be possible to recover your HDD from that but when BitLocker is involved, this cannot be guaranteed.

If you didn't make the backup image and used Add New Disk, this would have wiped the HDD ready for being used for a clean install or recovery, so you will need to find a partition recovery tool to try to get the wiped partitions back again.  This assumes that there have been no other actions applied to the HDD after it was wiped.
