Rescue Media builder links to "Acronis True Image 2016 Beta"

Thread needs solution

Hi,
1. I've just updated ATI from 2015 to 2016.
While trying to make Rescue Media I was instructed to download required components:
Acronis media add-on
Windows AIK or Windows ADK
When I tried to download either of these components, I was led to an empty page titled "Acronis True Image 2016 Beta" stating that "WinPE is not available in Acronis True Image Beta".

2. In order to report this issue I tried to find which build I'm using, but couldn't find it....

Can anyone relate to these 2 issues?
Thank you,
Jacob

Hi Jacob,

media add-ons will soon be available. In the meanwhile you can use this link to download them.

As for the build number, it can be found in the account tab in the product (second from the bottom).

Thank you,

When I tried this it downloaded the winpe binaries for Windows 8.1
I am running Windows 10. This release has it's own release. Downloading and installing 8.1 adk would corrupt Windows 10
So my question is. Should Acronis 2016 be downloading the correct ADK kit against the correct Windows release

Windows 7 for 7. 8.0 and 8.1
And now the latest for Windows 10

Try downloading the W10 ADK directly, unfortunately my ADK was already installed, so can't test directly your problem.

I did locate after a little search the correct Windows 10 ADK
Installed it and the WinPE disk creation now works

My real gripe was that this software was release in such a buggy state that it should have called the correct ADK and not the 8.1 release
Instead of releasing a half finished product it should have been delayed. Instead you are expected to pay for some bug ridden load of tosh
I will stick to 2015 version until someone can happily say that 2016 is usable
