Restore image containing two partitions

Thread needs solution

How come I can't restore an image comprised of two partitions? The task ends with an "i" but there's no other information of use. The resulting disk contains only one of the two partitions.

Step 1:
See screen shot.

Results:
See second screen shot.

If you are restoring using ATI 2016 the problem may be that ATI 2016 has limited support for backups created with versions prior to ATI 2014. I suggest you use the ATI 2010 bootable media to do the restore.

It is always a good idea to do restore/restoration of system disk using bootable media.

Thanks Ian. I am/was testing ATI 2016 capability in general with restoring images. I had cases where ATI 2010 couldn't even restore images it just got done completing on my NAS drive. I'm creating an image using ATI 2016 as I type. I'll see if it can do better than ATI 2010 did.

I owned a WDMYCLOUD in the past. ATI was able to backup to the NAS, and validate the backup when running in Windows. But ATI couldn't restore the images, whether from Windows (not recommended) or from the recovery CD, because the proprietary files system used on the WDMYCLOUD was such that the images were deemer corrupted always. The workaround is to copy the image on a USB disk for local restore. I ended up ditching that NAS for this and other reasons.

I don't know if WD fixed problems with its WDMYCLOUD, but just this evening I was able to create and restore and image with ATI 2016. I do have a USB 3TB and if I have any more problems with the NAS you can guess where I'm going.
Thanks,
Bill
