Thread needs solution

I have recently upgraded to ATI 2016.

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 Pro.

I would like to migrate my OS drive (C:) to a new devices (HDD > SSD).

1) What approach would be best?
2) My current HDD is formatted as GPT.
3) My new SSD I would prefer to be MBR.

My rig consists of 6.5TB storage. One of the devices is a 4TB HDD. Access to the HDD (without partitioning) requires GPT. What I don't know is how my OS drive became GPT when I migrated from a 256GB HDD to a 512GB drive using Acronis.

In fact, my system only has 1 MBR type disk at this time; and it is where the boot-loader resides (as though the OS doesn't know how to use GPT for power-on startup). This means that the boot-loader and the OS are actually on separate HDDs. Though this does not interfere with my normal use; one I upgrade to the SSD, I would like it to be more in-line with standard practice.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
