Scheduled backup doesn't work after Win10 Anniversary Edition Installation

Thread needs solution

I have seen this topic discussed but I don't find a solution. I have uninstalled and reinstalled ATI2016 Drop 6571 without success. Task Manager shows the scheduler running and Startup shows the Scheduler Helper enabled. I would like to try a clean uninstall but I don't know the steps; would that even help? Any advice? I am willing to upgrade to ATI2017 if that will solve the problem (if nothing else, that would give me access to Acronis support).

Thanks, Bob

Bob, I had this issue also see my post #13 here https://forum.acronis.com/forum/123415. Look at posts 6,7,8 above mine so you can make a copy of the database and your backup tasks. Copy them back after the clean install otherwise recreate them.

Uninstall TI 2016 using Programs and Features then run the Acronis True Image 2016: Cleanup Utility | Knowledge Base. Then reinstall TI 2016.

It may be as simple as re-picking the source and destination.  All Windows 10 "updates" are full OS installs and include a new recovery partition each time.  This may cause Acronis to see the original source as not being there since the disk has been modified by the Windows update.
