Slow Backup with new Target Drive

Thread needs solution

I am still using 2016. I back up both Files and EntirePC. I replaced the old storage with a new one. The first Files backup took a long time, but the next ones are also really slow and slowing down the computer.
This started 4 hours ago. Really annoying. I have not yet done the EntirePC backup, that might take days.

Also when I hit, shut down after, it did not shut the entire computer down.
I am trying to upload png file showing how slow it is. But it says cannot be uploaded. I can do 6 things in the time it allows me to do one thing. Frustrating.

No I see it is doing another chain, last week it did b4s1 and now it is doing b5s1. I do not know why that is, but still it takes so long. I cannot get anything done.

You should be creating a new task(s) to use the new storage drive as its Destination for backups.

The backup operation should not prevent you from using your computer for other activities if the backup is using the default settings for performance etc, unless the computer itself is very under-powered?
