 Hi,

The functioning of the Acronis Startup Recovery Manager often conflicts with the UEFI and Bitlocker. So, in your case I would recommend you to create a WinPE Bootable Media and try to Boot and Recover from it. Unlike the usual bootable media or the ASRM, the WinPE media contains the original drivers for all the hardware.

Also, please try to disable Bitlocker.

Hi There and thanks for the answer.

Bitlocker is not active on my main SDD and UEFI at least passes the ATI loader. As i said: only problem is that ATI2016 Linux loader seems not to support the Surface Hardware.  By the way i have two other tablets where behaviour is same.

I meanwhile managed to get a WinPE medium to get working but in the first its dosnt support the attached SSD..had to add appropriate driver to WinPE at first.

To be homest.... the comforatble use of ATI i know from many old versions seems to be gone....

the need to download ADK befor the possibility of a propper way to restore a system is not very user friendly.....
