[SUGGESTION] License manager in dashboard
It would be great to see a licensing management, similar to the one you introduced with ATIH 2016 when you are overlicensed and need to drag an already activated license from one computer to another.
Imho it would be pretty helpful to let a user manage - so grant, move and also revoke activations using the dashboard.

Just a silly question on this issue!
I have loaded, and activated ATI 2016, on to my desktop; If I know perform a clean install of Windows 10, on this desktop, and then install/activate ATI 2016, will I have used two of my three user licences!

Or is there any logic in this software that would detect it has been un-installed. Therefore free'ing up a license

Not sure what logic is used, however it associates particular PC/MAC with the licence, so uninstalling and reinstalling should not affect the number of 'unused' licences'. If it does you can remove the duplicates by going to Acronis home page and opening your account. At this stage you cannot manage licences via the dashboard.

Uninstalling ATIH 2016 seems not to revoke a previously assigned license. Would be a nice idea by the way. I know some other software vendors that specificially ask when you uninstall the product if you want to deactivate the license on this computer and whether you want to keep the licensing information in the Windows Registry or not.
Would be a nice thing to have that for Acronis, too.

Hi Guys,
This communication from Acronis may be of interest:-
Hello Brian,
Thank you for contacting Acronis Customer Central. My name is Akhil.
This is a follow-up email post the chat conversation we had earlier today.
You wanted to know if new installation of Acronis True Image 2016 on fresh copy of Windows 10 will take up the second license of Acronis True Image 2016 Upgrade - 3 computers.
We informed you that Acronis True Image 2016 licenses are tied to hardware and not to Operating System. You will be using the same license which was tied to the machine earlier.
You also have the option to move the registration from one machine to another if the machine is replaced or decommissioned. With Acronis True Image 2016 Upgrade - 3 computers you will be able to use the product simultaneously on 3 machines.
For more information on Moving activation of Acronis True Image 2016, please refer to:
