Thread needs solution

This is also logged:

Failed to open data stream. Try to remove the backup from the list, add it again by clicking 'Browse for backup' and recreate the backup settings.

So when I try to do this, I get the following message:

Failed to add the backup to the backup list. The backup may be locked or corrupted. Also, make sure the folder contains the last volume of the backup, and does not contain a renamed copy of the same backup.

There were NEVER any issues with ATI 2015 and ATI 2016 has been a HUGE disappointment. It is not my place to run QC for Acronis. If you want to release buggy software do it on someone else's dime, NOT mine!

Considering that I'm the decision maker on selecting products that our client use on the workstations and servers (Acronis Advanced Server), this will be a big deal breaker for Acronis as I'm pursuing other more reliable solutions (i.e. ShadowProtect, etc.).

My advice to Acronis...Test your damn products before you release them to the general public.

The critical thing is that the appropriate testing is done before release. Hopefully this should be done as part of the beta testing program.

I am sure I did what you tired with one of the early beta builds without issue. However, with ATI 2016 some bugs appeared late in the beta testing process, and other seem to have only appeared after release of ATI 2016. This may be one of them.

If you look at the ATI 2016 Beta forum you will see several comments indicating that further development and testing was needed before the public release. Some of the issues with ATI 2016 are probably related to the need to integrate with Windows 10 but others are harder to explain/understand.
