TI 2016 Cloud no connection after reboot

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I upgraded a few days ago to TI Cloud 2016.

When I create a cloud backup evertyhing is ok and the backup starts.

When I reboot my PC for some reason, the cloud backup tries to start but cannot work, I get a message that looks like 'Unable to resolve host - Check internet connection'.

But there is no internet problem...

I have reinstalled TI and there is no improvement.

Does anyone have an idea ?

Many thanks in advance,

Loulou

I have the same problem.

I installed an earlier build of ATI2016 in October, and I was able to access the cloud until I upgraded to Build 6027.  Using this new build, I accessed the cloud once, on November 27th.  After that I get the message given in Loulou's post.

I do not have an internet problem.

Does this message mean that the Cloud is down?  I have seen a similar message a few months ago in ATI2013.  It persisted for a month, then Acronis apparently discovered an error on their end.  A few days after they acknowledged the error, the Cloud started working again.

NOTE TO ACRONIS:  Please look into this as soon as possible.  I depend on the Cloud backup feature.

Hi,

I posted my message on Dec 4th.

Suddenly yesterday (Dec 7th) the backup started to work again (it was trying to upload in the background since Dec 4th, after each reboot).

In order to be sure there was no problem left, I deleted the current cloud backup, created a new one, and all has been working fine since yesterday.

I presume Acronis is making changes on their servers. I also had a problem with my cloud dashboard last week and one day everything was back to normal.

Cheers,

Loulou
