TI 2016 software windows not fitting screen

Thread needs solution

Dual boot system with Acronis 2016 build 6571 and 64 bit Win 10 Pro, and Acronis 2013 latest build and 64 bit Win 7 Pro. Since I'm not a teenager I've raised the display scaling on both OSs to around 145%. Win 10 control panels-display-change the size of items-set a custom scaling. With TI 2016 and Win 10 the TI 2016 software windows won't completely fit on my screen. See one example attached. I think TI 2015 is ditto. The enlarged windows in TI 2016 are probably nice if you are running Win 10 at 100% or 125% scaling. But no problems with Win 7 and TI 2013. Anyone know of any tricks or options in TI to drop the size of the TI windows without adjusting the OS settings?

  • 1.5 GB of free space on a hard disk
  • CD-RW/DVD-RW drive or USB flash drive for bootable media creation
  • Screen resolution is 1152 x 720
  • Mouse or other pointing device (recommended)

Additionally, you need to have administrator privileges to run Acronis True Image.

I'm Jacob. It's my AKA name. Anyway, I've got a Lenovo M82 desktop with 12 GB of PC-12800 1600MHz non ECC RAM, intel 3.2 GHZ i5, 80 GB free space on C drive with TI 2106 already installed, everything else and and a recommended 1440 X 900 screen resolution which I've used for years witn TI 2013 and Win 7. Looks like TI 2016 is using bigger windows.

As stated above, ATIH 2016 has a minimum screen resolution of 1152 x 720 but this is when using a display scaling of 100%.

ATIH 2013 had different minimum screen resolution requirements that were lower than those of ATIH 2016
