Robert, welcome to these public User Forums.

There should only normally be a single such process active on your computer, so strange that you have so many!

I would suggest doing a restart of Windows as a first step to clearing these processes, then if you see any repeat, consider doing a Repair Install of ATI 2016.

See KB 60915: Acronis True Image: repairing program settings - for details of doing a repair.

Note: the final released build version of ATI 2016 was #6595 which contains all fixes for known problems in that version.  You can see the build information on the Account page in the ATI GUI and download the installer from your Acronis Account web page if it is registered there.

Robert, did you confirm that you are using the final build #6595 for ATI 2016?

The options here are to do a full uninstall and reinstall of ATI 2016 to see if that corrects this issue, or else to stop the Acronis Tib Mounter Monitor process from starting up automatically, assuming that you are not needing to mount any .tib backup images very often?

You haven't mentioned the version of Windows being used here?

If you have Windows 10, then you can disable the process via the Start-up page of the Windows Task Manager.

The change will only come into effect on restarting the computer.

Thank you Steve. yes I have #6595 and yes windows 10. I disabled the process also I am going to restart now.

Will come back later to let you know what happened. Thanks again.

*******That stopped it from the 100+ ********

Still would like to know why it does that?

Robert, glad to hear the initial issue is stopped by disabling the process from starting.  As to the why it does that, sorry but I don't have an answer, as this is somewhat a unique issue as far as my experience here in the forums.  I haven't seen other users reporting this, nor seen it myself, so can only speculate that it is being caused by some interaction with another process on your computer?
