Too Many activitions on TI 2016

Thread needs solution

I purchased a family pack and never installed any one of the licenses. This weekend I tried to activiate TI2016 on a brand new Windows 10 machine. I got an error of "too many acivations" on each of the three licenses. I have never used the licenses before. How do I correct this?

thanks

Hi David,

Typically, tech support is the way to go with product licensing issues - did you try to reach them via instant chat or email?  If you have not started a support case via chat yet, that may be the best course of action to get a hold of someone ASAP.  Otherwise, I think the support site says email response is like 3 days and I'm sure each interaction between could take awhile as well.

Otherwise, normally, when you get too many activations, you'll be prompted to log into your account and it will show you systems it is already installed on and then you can deactivate from one of those so that it can activate on another. Are you not gettings prompt to do so?  If you can do this, hopefully that helps.  Make sure that the systems that are showing as previously licensed are yours ... if not, report it to technical support ASAP.

Also, this probably doesn't apply in your case, but thought I'd add it too (just in case)

There is an Acronis Cloud test tool - try running it and make sure you get successful responses all the way to the point that the command windows self closes.

I went back to ATI 2015 as I needed to get the machine to the owner. I will using the ATI 2016 license on the next Win 10 upgrade which will be this weekend.
