Trail Version Download Error

Thread needs solution

Hello,

Right now I am trying to install the ATI trial version, and there is a ~5meg download. Upon opening the download, thei "Acronis True Image 2016 Checking for available versions..." (build 6559) pops up. It then times out and says "Download error".

Does anyone know how to resolve this? An error code would have been nice.

I think 6559 just came out.  I have it in my download section now.  May be that it's getting hammered with new downloads or hadn't been uploaded yet - ist it still doing it?  What if you try to download the trial version again now instead of an existing one - does it let you download 6559 directly?

  • The default sync was deleted after the product update from Hotfix 3 (build 5634) to Update 1 (build 6027)
  • Only the first custom backup scheme is saved correctly
  • The current Try&Decide changes are discarded after you select to keep them when the computer restarts
  • A P2P sync fails when you join this sync on the second computer

Yes, it is still doing it...

 

I have the full version installed so the trial takes me to a downloader to upgrade, but wants me to uninstall so not going to do that for testing. You can reach out to customer support and they should be able to help you out.
