Trial versions, errors and questions.
First of all I created a backup and it seems to be OK.
Question first, I'm used to using Symantec's System Restore, and it always loads to the SYSTRAY. Don't see this with Acronis True Image 2016? OK, I can start the program, but how do I know the scheduled backup will run? Do I need to load the program to do the backup?
Errors that I've gotten:
- I tried to run the REPORT GENERATOR from the x64 version's Tools. Took forever and eventually the disk activity light went out but nothing appeared? I then went back to the main menu and did it from there. See the REPORT GENERATION ERRORS photo posted with this. At the end again nothing appeared? Are those errors 'serious' and will this cause the ability to restore a drive (especially the SSD where is says 4096 block size is not supported)?
- I tried out the NETWORK. Help says a DEVICE TREE would be shown, but none is. This PC has 3 network devices, 2 disabled. The disabled ones are a NIC and an N wireless card. The one that is enabled is an AC wireless USB attachment. No errors but it never connects or even sees any networks. I don't even know what device it is looking at since there is no tree.
I've also uploaded the Acronis System Report I was able to create under the program running on the PC (W10).
I'd like to figure out what is going on and how to fix something and get an answer to my question before I buy the program. Wondering if I need to go trough the hassle of creating the Windows PE to fix all the 'problems'?
Thanks in Advance for you help.

Hi Laraine Spalten,
Answering your question, you don't have to run the program for the backups to be executed. They will start according to the schedule that you have configured.
The 4096 block size disks are supported and there should not be any issue for backup and recovery.
Windwos PE version will be necessary if some of the devices are not correctly detected by the Linux-based media.
