True Image 2016 Crashes PC during Backup (Windows 10)

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I've just upgraded my PC to Windows 10 (from Windows 7). The PC runs ok for many hours (no crashes) until I start running a full backup on True Image 2016. Then, at random intervals (e.g. 1 hour, 30 mins etc.) the PC restarts itself. True Image resumes the backup (as expected) but then the PC restarts itself again after a while and the cycle of restarts continues.

Looking in Event Viewer I see various bugcheck entries at the time of the crashes, e.g.:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x00000124 (0x0000000000000000, 0xffffe000acd52028, 0x00000000be200000, 0x000000000005110a). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 5723eed2-bfd5-4f15-bf4a-c2efdd0d2f8e.

Could anyone advise what to do next to try to fix this? I've done a full uninstall and reinstall of True Image 2016 but the crashes/reboots are still happening.

Many thanks.

James, I would recommend downloading and installing a free application called Who Crashed and use this to obtain more information as to what is causing the crash. You may need to enable further memory dumps if needed by the program.
