Paulo,
I have a bit of trouble reading the jpg you supplied because I do not speak your language. It appears to me that you are attempting to recover the System partition of your OS install. I say this because of the size being 350MB. You are also attempting this from within the Windows installed True Image app. It is not recommended that you attempt recovery of the OS system disk while booted into the Windows environment. You should use the Recovery Media to perform such recoveries. I believe that the app is crashing due to the fact that the partition you are trying to recover is active and therefore by your attempt to access that partition causes the application to crash.
It may help to disable Secure Boot in your machine bios if it is enabled but again it is not recommended that you perform recover operations of your system disk while such disk is active or online.

Bom dia, não é isto que estou fazendo, estou recuperando uma imagem em um disco que não está relacionado com o Sistema Operacional

Good morning, this is not what I'm doing , I'm recovering an image on a disk that is not related to the Operating System

Hi Paulo,
Run Check, for Error Checking the File System on both the Drive containing the Image, the operating system and the Destination Partition. Not necessary to use the Bootable Rescue CD, if you dual-boot. You can restore one operating system, from another easily. And depending on the priority set for restoring, you could also play a game as well or do another work, while Acronis is restoring.

I have the same exact problem as Paulo except I'm restoring the C partition. I have a clean install of Windows 10 with the latest ATI 2016 demo. By the way, ATI 2014 allows recovering the C-drive, so I suppose ATI 2016 should. Besides, even if it couldn't, it shouldn't crash, but rather issue a warning or something. ATI will reboot and complete the restore process if the C drive is currently running Windows. I have clean install of Windows 10 and I disabled Windows Defender. I even made a backup of the clean install and tried to restore it. ATI 2016 still crashed as soon as I selected the partition to restore.
I have ATI 2014 which works fine with Windows 10. I tried ATI 2015 and got a refund because it had bugs and crashed. I was hoping ATI 2016 would be better. It isn't.

When you only have one operating system on the computer, it is always best to use the Acronis Bootable Rescue CD.
When you do have multiple Hard Drives inside the computer with multiple operating systems, you can use Acronis True Image 2016 to restore Full Backups. I don't use Incremental Backups, because while they are fast to create, they are much slower to restore.

Thanks for the info. I'd like to repeat, though, that ATI 2014 works just fine for restoring the active C-drive while using the C-drive. After starting the restore process, ATI 2014 will reboot the computer into a pre-windows instance of ATI and complete the restore. And I said in my previoys message that ATI 2016 should not crash when the C-partition is selected. This is a serious bug and has prevented me from upgrading to ATI 2016.
I have a good PC with an ASRoick motherboard Z77 Extreme4, 2x 128 SSD RAID-0, Windows 10, and 3 other large internal hard drves for my data.

David,
As further information, as you know TI when run from Windows and used to perform a system disk restore operation reboots into as you say a pre-Windows environment. That environment is Linux based and is the same as that used when the Recoery Media created by the user is used to perform the same task.
Windows 10 has a built in feature designed to enhance the user experience by speeding up the shutdown and boot experience. This feature is known as Fast Startup and uses the C:Hyberfil.sys to achieve this goal. In my opinion your experience is directly related to this feature. Additionally, we MVP's have always recommended that users performing recovery of System disk partitions or whole system disks use the Recovry Media to do so. This default behavior of Windows 10 makes that recommendation even more important. I am including a link here that will give you more info about Fast Startup:

Thanks. Since my TI 2014 works fine with Windows 10, is there any reason to upgrade to TI 2016 and have to deal with the problems? Seems to be a step backwards...since they changed to the Linux codebase. By the way, I purchased all versions of True Image since 7.0 in 2004. Skipped 2015 and 2016. I influced 3 people to get backup software because they were not backing up anything. I told them to get TI 2014 last year while they could and avoid 2015. TI 2014 just works.
