TrueImageMonitor.exe chewing lots of CPU
I just upgraded from 2012 to 2016. TrueImageMonitor is continuously using 20% - 25% of my CPU. Why is it doing that?
I don't see it in the services but I do see: Acronis Scheduler2, Acronis Nonstop Backup , Acronis Sync Agent.
If one or more of these are continuously monitoring my system I want to disable them so I can use my PC without performance problems. Can I safely disable any of these services? I don't need real time monitoring.
Note: I always run my backups manually.
If this is covered in anothr forum please point me at it.

Thanks Bobbo
My work Windows 10 (shudder) machine does not have this problem. Its only my personal windows 7 machine.

Yeah, upgrades don't always go as smoothly as planned. I might also suggest doing a clean uninstall and reiinstall on the problem machine using these instructions.

I disabled all the services you listed in the other forum and rebooted. TrueImageMonitor.exe is still using 25% of CPU.
I checked and the services are disbled.

Oh boy... Thanks for the info re uninstall/reinstall.
I'll try it on the weekend and let you know how it goes. I just spent 3 days on resolving work computer hell and am fed up with tech. I hate this crap...

OK, it doesn't look like it's required (https://forum.acronis.com/forum/9223)
type "msconfig" in your Windows search bar
click on the startup tab
look for "trueimagemonitor.exe"
Uncheck the box.
Click OK to apply.
Reboot and check for CPU usage again.
