Try&Decide Fails to start - No error code
Hello. Acronis TI seems to work fine. But when I try to run Try&Decide, I get this box: "Failed to start Try&Decide." with a round red X icon. No error code or any explanation. Why will it not work?! Is there anything to look for? Thanks for any assistance.
- None of the older threads on this topic helped and seem out of date.
- 2016 build #6571 (it is the update from 2015).
- Services running (in services.msc): Managed Machine Service Mini, Nonstop Backup, Scheduler2,Sync Agent.
- Attached system report if that is helpful.
- Repaired the installation with the installer. I would very much prefer not to uninstall and re-install all this mess.
- Have not "activated startup recovery manager"
- Do not have non-stop backup running.
- Have not (nor want to) created Secure Zone.
- I used the default settings and it failed. Though the preference is to use my A: drive to store the .tib data and it is only the C: partition I am backing up (which is the boot drive). I use the A: drive for my full .tib backups. I have 50GB+ extra there and it did not tell me there was a space problem. Both these drives are internal.
