Two TI versions on one computer.

Thread needs solution

Just recently purchased an upgrade to TI 2016. I have a PC that has many drives and volumes on it. I have lots and lots of tasks with my TI 2010. While I like 2016, I would still like to use the older version now and then.  Is there anyway to have TI 2010 and 2016 on the same computer ? I've had the license for 2016 for some time now & just haven't gotten around to installing.

*The 2010 version isn't the license key I will use for 2016 activation. This way both would be fully licensed for use on the same computer.

I suppose I could just use the bootable 2010 CD, but I'd like to have both TI versions on the PC.

Thanks.

MacRL, sorry but the simple answer to your question is no, you cannot have two different versions of ATIH installed on the same Windows OS system.

Any attempt to install a later version such as ATIH 2016 will result in your ATIH 2010 being removed first.

The only way this could be done is if you had a dual-boot system with ATIH 2010 installed on one of those dual OS's and ATIH 2016 installed on the other OS.  This would keep the two different versions separate as only one OS would ever be active at one time.

You could use bootable Rescue Media created by either of these two versions of ATIH.

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually my PC dual-boots Windows 7 and Windows 10. I can just leave TI 2010 on Windows 7 and install the 2016 upgrade on my Windows 10 setup. Both boot scenarios access the same drives/volumes.
