UEFI and GPT - Does ATI 2016 Boot Into These?

I have been thinking about upgrading from ATI 2014, but I have been very disappointed in ATI's inability to create a windows PE rescue disk that would successfully boot my Acer laptop with a UEFI/GPT disk. Other backup software, such as Ma..... Reflect makes the rescue disk creation very easy.
Does anyone have any hands on experience with ATI 2016 in making a Windows PE rescue disk that actually boots a UEFI/GPT computer?
In ATI 2014, I was only able to create a bootable USB disk because of the work of Paul Larini, an Acronis MVP who figured out how to create a Win PE based bootable USB disk. The Acronis folks didn't seem to know how to do this.
