UID will not resize after update to build 6569

Thread needs solution

After I updated to build 6569 the UID will not let me resize it.  I like to have it not completely fill the screen but after this update I can't resize it, can anyone help me with this.  I am using windows 7 64bit operating system.

Hello Leroy,

The ATIH 2016 User Guide states the minimum required Screen resolution is 1152 x 720.

On my laptop the ATIH 2016 GUI has a minimum resolution of 1026 x 712 that it will not let be resize to any smaller size.

My GUI covers the entire screen even the status bar at the bottom and the reason is because I have large text selected on the screen resolution page, this started with build 6569, older build didn't do this.  Also I can't sign in using the program but I can sign in to my account via the Acronis webpage.  Also the chat support is down.  What is wrong with this company I can't get any support at all.

Leroy,

Please submit Feedback directly to the Acronis developers about this issue using the Feedback tool in the application Help section.  It would be helpful if you can include a System Report with your feedback so that they can see what your system settings are.  Please refer to this forum post in the feedback text.  I would suggest making this an Accessibility issue for any users who need to have larger fonts sizes because of sight issues.

Hello Leroy,

Thanks for posting and welcome to Acronis forums.

There were adjustments, made to graphical user interface scaling intentionally in the latest update, 6569, to improve user experience on high-DPI displays. As a quick workaround, you can simply uninstall the currently build, install the older one that worked fine (download it from https://www.acronis.com/en-us/my/products/)  and ignore the message about new build availability.

Support options are listed at http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/advantage.html. To get assistance through chat after first 30 days of using the product you would need to pay a fee, which would be refunded in case if the investigation will confirm the problem to be a known issue in the product.

Regards,

Slava
