unable to access after 30 days

Thread needs solution

I purchased ATI 16 from Argos and it worked fine for 30 days, then I started receiving message that the license had expired whereas it should have lasted a year. I ended up completely removing it and reinstalling but still the same. Any ideas ?

Hello Andy,

When you purchased ATIH 2016 you should have received a product serial number which will allow you to activate the software.  It only expires after 30 days if you are using it as a Trial without activation.

Note: If you have bought ATIH 2016 Cloud, then you have a 1 year Cloud subscription which will expire after that year.

If you have bought the ATIH 2016 standard product, then this has a 30 day Cloud trial subscription but the product does not expire after 1 year.

The product is a Boxed Full version and I have received a valid serial number from Acronis. When I log in to Acronis it states that my serial number gives me a full licensed product for a year. The problem would appear to be that I did not manage to Activate it within the 30 Days for several reasons and now I cannot find any info on how to overcome this. Again, any suggestions.

Andy, you should be able to activate your Acronis product at any time, there is no 30 day limitation for activation.  The only 30 day limit that is imposed is for entitlement for support after activation / purchase.

Followed document 18623 down the registration failure path and ended up Activating Acronis TI 2016 from my 2nd computer and, it worked !
