Universal Restore Error

Thread needs solution

I am getting a driver error while trying to use the Acronis Universal Restore.  The driver is PCI\ven_8086&dev_8c26&subsys_06221028&rev_05 for Windows 7 professional.  I have been looking around at nurmous sites for this driver but nothing I have tried has worked.

Without this driver the machine is stuck trying to load windows and continues to restart. 

 I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to getting this solved.

The error is associated with USB 3.0 drivers for Win 7.  You should be able to boot your machine without those drivers installed and once booted install those drivers using Windows Device Manager.   You can obtain the curent drivers from your manufacturer support site.

Shutdown your machine and restart into the bios, navigate to the Boot section and find Boot Order.  Set your hard drive as first device in the boot order, save your changes and exit.  Machine should boot.
