Update to 6569 Fails

Thread needs solution

I get most of the way thru the update and then see:

Product:    Acronis True Image 2016
Build:    6569
Date:    5/5/2016
Time:    12:50:58 PM

Error details:    Access is denied

Any idea why this is happening?  I run on Win10.  It worked fine on another system.  I have tried a couple of times over a two day period with the same results. Maybe a corrupt download file that needs to be removed?

if you are updating through the app, perhaps try downloading it manually from your account.  Before installing, reboot (just in case).  Then boot into Windows, stop Acronis services in control panel >>> administrative tools >>>> services (right click services and "run as administrator" before stopping them.  Once stopped, right click the new full installer and 'run as administrator" to complete.   Hopefully that does the job.

If not, I'd try completely removing the existing version using the cleantool as described at the link below and then reinstalling fresh with the new download and the "run as administrator' option.
