Update to build 6595 blocked.
Hello: When I try to install the new version (I currently have 6589), downloaded by the automatic updates system, I can not install it since Windows 10 - 64bits, it blocks it.
I have changed permissions, run as Administrator and the block continues.
Someone has the same difficulty. Thanks for the help.

Hello: Thank you very much for your response and help, the problem has been solved and I have been able to upgrade to 6595.
As I indicated I accessed the update file in C: \ Users \ username \ AppData \ Local \ ... and I ran the 6595 update with Administrator permissions, it worked perfectly.
I hope it can be useful to someone else. Thank you Mr. Steve Smith

In reply to Carlesa25, glad to hear that… by truwrikodrorow…

Wife hit this problem yesterday, and she decided to start a Chat before I had a chance to look at it. Agent got on the PC and did try all the suggestions listed above. We even disabled Norton Internet Security and tried installing before calling and told him that. He poked around and noticed PC had UAC enabled (on W10 Pro) and the first thing he did was disable that after looking for the d/l in Local folder path and it was empty. Still failed. Then made other changes too, some permissions, and REGEDIT additions. Even had her boot into the Administrator itself (she runs as Administrator), and it still failed and folder was empty. Went back and booted into her normal account and checked ALL the permissions. Still broke, nothing helped. He checked with other resources he had there. Answer, W10 is causing it not to install.
Finally, did get it installed, by d/l'ing the update file running it. He said that is the best way for now. Odd part, on my PC I had NO problem. I have the Home W10 version, and when I installed the 6595 build I did NOT have Norton install but McAfee Live Safe (now have the same Norton she has). Maybe the problem is specific to W10 Pro? I know Pro version has GPEDIT and a lot more things can be changed with it that can be on the Home version (but I think those changes can also be made via REGEDIT). It might have been a W10 Update though, for some reason I did the update weeks ago, but she just was notified it was available yesterday? Possible she ignored the notice weeks ago though and this was the next time it was presented and a Windows Update new since I installed has caused the problem?
Just another data point for you.
