update failed today.

Thread needs solution

After downloading update today, update failed. Admin logs show error 1000 and 7000. Noted as "access denied". Acronis Log attached. Had no problem with update on my other computer, more or less both setup the same. Unable to identify the problem at "Windows". Any help will be appreciated.

just letting you know that after a couple of restarts and some further downloads, not quite sure what, the update completed installing and everything is now operating correctly. If there was some help involved, thank you very much.

Richard

I have same kind experience with update from build 6569 to 6571. First two update attempts failed with following info:

Product:        Acronis True Image 2016
Build:             6571
Date:             6/8/2016
Time :            10:37:42 AM
More info:     Acronis Knowledge Base
Error details: Access denied

Then I run third download by right-clicking "run as administrator" when I start ATI UI and update run succesfully. I really don't know if this was the reason, because I run the first two update attempts in administrator user account. But anyway, now I have working build 6571 on my both Win 10 -machines.

Thankyou for taking the time to assist.  As I stated on the thread, installation occurred after some attempts, not that anything I did in particular, except restating the computer at least a couple of times. There was some sort of download at the time of the last time, not sure if it was connected. Anyway thankyou. All the best.

Richard

Thanks for everyone's feedback.  I just read two other posts with similar issues (again).  In both cases, there's was related to AV being the problem as well, so the "run as admin" can be key, and/or disabling AV (or whitelisting the Acronis folders first - possibly).
