Update with malware!
New user and first time at the forum...
Yesterday Acronis True Image 2015 advised update available (Build 6559) - downloaded and installed...
My internet security system (Bullguard) advised an attempt to install 'malware' identified as:
Malware: Gen: Variant. Graftor.30964
Path: C:\Program Files\Acronis\VssRequestor\VssRequestor.exe
Infected Process: [4376] C:\WINDOWS\System32\msiexec.exe
The installation continued and I note that the desktop shortcut now does not display the Acronis logo but is a 'vannila' MS icon labled as Acronis...
A backup run appeared to be very, very slow and I am, therefore, not convinced that Acronis is now running correctly!
Comments and advice greatly appreciated.
I should add that the Acronis purchase was for 3 computers. This update only applied to my 'work-horse-internet PC' which runs (still!) XP/SP3...

Hello Ken,
It is a false positive. We are working on resolving this, see http://forum.acronis.com/forum/116800#comment-351288
A quick workaround is to disable antivirus before installing the update.

I posted this issue to Bullguard (my Internet Security prog) and after posting a couple of files to them their "fix" is detailed below.
It does appear to resolve my issues ~~~
1. Open BullGuard and click on the Settings option.
2. Navigate to the Antivirus > Misc section and untick the "Continue to monitor files when BullGuard is closed" option.
3. Click on the Antivirus section and select the OFF option (the green button on the right side).
4. Click on BullGuard's logo in the top left part of the window and go to the Antivirus menu (the button that looks like 3 dots) > Quarantine.
5. Put a check mark in front of the file in question and click on the Restore button (if the file appears in Quarantine).
6. Click on the Settings option again and navigate to the Antivirus > Tuning section.
7. Tick the box in front of the Skip files/folders button, in the new window that appears click on the + button and browse to the application's installation folder. Add it to the list and click OK.
8. Re-enable the Antivirus and the "Continue to monitor files when BullGuard is closed" option.
The issue should no longer persist afterwards.
Hope this is useful information to other users :)
