"Validate Backup Regularly" will not stay set

Thread needs solution

I am setting options for 3 different backup sets. I select "Validate Backup when it is created" and I try to set "Validate Backup Regularly" but only the first one stays checked when I move to the next backup set. It looks like it has been saved, but once I open the options for the next backup set, it seems to get cleared, so that when I go back to check the first settings, only the "when created" box is checked. Likewise, if I close TI2016 and reopen it, I find that the box is no longer checked.

Dan, I suspect that this is another petty annoyance in the ATIH GUI where the setting has taken but is not reflected as so when you go back and look at it again.  I would say that there is a very good chance that you will find that Acronis has created a scheduled task to action your "Validate Backup Regularly" request but there is no simple way to see this from within the GUI.

You can use the Acronis Scheduler Manager to get list of scheduled tasks and then compare the cryptic identifiers shown in the list against the .TIS Script files in the C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts folder - each of these .TIS files contains XML text data that you can read using a standard text editor and contains the details of the activity to be performed.
