"View current state of drive" left out of ATI 2016?

Only using the demo version of ATI 2016 (have 2014 installed and have using various versions for 10 years).

The drive cleanser seems to have the "click to view current state of drives" missing which is surely an essential part of the Drive Cleanser. Without being able to check that the drive is now zeroed, any wiping function is useless.

Can you confirm that the view facility has been left out of ATI 2016? Any reason for this?

Incidentally, when I go to other tools and try to use the drive cleanser, Windows Explorer crashes but I can access it from the boot disk, even though the Drive Cleanser function is disabled for the demo.

Hi Lord Beau,

This feature has been discontinued since Acronis True Image 2015 since it duplicates a Windows OS standard tool –Hard Disk Manager.  Most users use newer OSs that have this support, thus making it redundant. 

I suggest you use a free utility Drive Monitor (if supported by your OS).
